Hello! Thank you for visiting our website. In 2001, Utah Dance Artists opened in the basement of my home. There was only one tiny dance studio, a small waiting room area (aka the laundry room), and one dance teacher; me! I taught all of the classes. Several months before UDA opened, my mom and I walked around countless neighborhoods and grocery store parking lots passing out thousands of flyers, resulting in 80 students who enrolled that first year. I never could have dreamed that ten years later UDA would be in a facility with four beautiful studios, a staff of nearly thirty and welcome over 400 students through our doors weekly. As early as I can remember I wanted to own my own dance studio and I am now living the dream!
How monumental it is for me to look back at the past few years and know that the tremendous growth and success of UDA is a direct result of the effort, dedication, and perhaps most of all, the people that have been characteristic of our studio. I never thought so many incredible individuals; students, parents, faculty and staff could all be a part of one family, but they are. They lie within the family of Utah Dance Artists! Together we have created something very special. UDA is not just a dance studio that provides the best dance education available, it is a place for growth and development, where lasting friendships are created, where important values such as hard work, respect and dedication are cultivated and where a genuine love and concern for each individual is shared. A tremendous amount of love and gratitude fills my heart each and every day for my UDA family.
As we enter into our second decade, we attribute our success to providing our students with a solid, technical dance foundation, running an organized business and having an underling belief in the philosophies of our program.
