Mr. Butler was a charter member of Ballet West, a University of Utah Theater professor, and owner of Butler Dance Academy. He has been a guest instructor and performer throughout the United States, South America and Asia. His students have performed on Broadway (Cats, A Chorus Line and Les Miserables), as well as in movies and television. In 2005, Mr. Butler retired from Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts, where he was Director of the Dance Program. Currently, he is involved with a high school for the performing arts in Salt Lake City.
