Haley Israelsen is an alumnus from Utah Dance Artists where she was a member of the Senior Company and was named UDA's "Dancer of the Year." She has trained in jazz, modern, tap, classical ballet, Pointe, hip-hop, ballroom and African. Ms. Israelsen expanded her training in Los Angeles under renowned dancers and choreographers such as Mandy Moore, Malaya, Dante, Bobby Newberry and others. While in high school, Haley was the head choreographer for the Taylorsville High Dance Company, named THS Outstanding Dancer of the Year and selected as the dance Sterling Scholar. She went on to be a state finalists in the Sterling Scholar competition.
Haley is a student at the University of Utah where she is pursuing a BFA in Modern Dance. Haley was selected as a freshman & sophomore to perform in the University’s Performing Dance Company and was selected to perform in both the Student Concert and Senior Concert. She is an award winning choreographer and has choreographed for various high school dance companies, studios, and soloists in the Salt Lake Valley. Her choreography has also been featured on Fox 13’s Good Day Utah. Haley has been a member of the Ririe-Woodbury pre-professional modern dance company, “ Step Up,” and she is currently a member of the professional African dance company “Wasalanka.”
