Ballet - Pointe

Stephani is from South Jordan, UT. She received her training in her early years at Utah Dance Artists beginning at age five. When she was eight she began competitively dancing but fell in love with the joy ballet brought her. At age eleven she joined Utah Dance Artists Ballet Ensemble under the direction of Kaelynne Oliphant. While she was there she had the opportunity to have a full length ballet set on her titled Wings. She performed this ballet as the lead until her graduation. During that time she also received private lessons from Elisse N Shell at Classical Ballet Conservatory. Through these private lessons she was able to learn the Raymonda Variation which she completed at the January 2018 YAGP where she received top 20 in the classical division.

After graduation she attended Utah Valley University to earn her BFA in Ballet. At age nineteen she became a member of Utah Valley University’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble where she had the opportunity to learn classical works such as Piquita, Swan Lake and Les Sylphides along with more contemporary works. During her first year she also had the opportunity to be an understudy in Utah Metropolitan Ballet’s performance of Serenade. During her second year she received a scholarship for Repertory Ballet Ensemble and has continued to maintain that scholarship until her graduation. She graduated Utah Valley University Summa Cum Laude in 2022. Currently she is dancing with Chrysalis Ballet Company and is excited to see where the future will lead her.
