Jazz/Tap Combo Class
Whitney Henderson began her dance education at Ballet West for Children. She later studied at the Christensen Center and Ballet West Conservatory studying ballet, jazz, character, and hip hop. Whitney has studied under William F. Christensen, Jan Fugit, Sharee Lane, Bene Arnold, Peter Christy, and Janet Grey. She traveled with Ballet West Principal dancers promoting the arts and ballet through out Utah. Whitney was a Songleader and Dance Co. President at East High School and taught ballet and combo classes during college. She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Health Education, and has been teaching group fitness for the past 6 years. She recently worked under choreographer Jamie King promoting The NIKE Rockstar dance workout.This is Whitney’s first year teaching at Utah Dance Artists and is excited to be a part of the UDA family.
