Rachel joined the UDA staff in 2019. A Utah native, Rachel that has two great loves: dance and graphics. So she is thrilled to combine her two passions as a Graphic Designer for a Utah Dance Artists.

She has been dancing since she a little girl and was on the drill team in high school, serving as choreographer for 2 years. She continued dancing at BYU where she participated in Ballroom Dance. She cultivated her love for graphic design in High School as year book editor. Her first job out of high school was a graphic designer and publicists for the BYU Dance Department. She also gained experience in graphic design working for the BYU newspaper and the BYU Theater Department before her college days were over. After graduating from BYU with a BA in Marketing and Graphic Design, she worked full-time as the Marketing Coordinator for Reaveley Structural Engineers.

After working full time for 4 years she shifted her focus to being a mom and is blessed to stay at home with her 4 adorable children, 3 boys and 1 girl. Being a mother is her greatest joy in her life. She’s grateful she is able to stay at home while she does freelance graphic design for a variety of clients. She served on the publicity committee for the Days of ’47 for several years, alongside with some of the most prominent names in Utah’s communications field. She’s grateful for the singular opportunities her graphics work has given her, from accepting a Best of State Award in front of hundreds of people to designing backdrops for prestigious international tradeshows, to dining with the Governor. Rachel also enjoys cooking, traveling, scrapbooking, being with friends, and snuggling up with her cat Zoey. But, most of all she loves creating memories with her family.
