Ms. Inglett's training began at Misty’s Dance Unlimited in Onalaska, Wisconsin, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary styles for thirteen years. She was a part of the Performance Company where she competed in all dance styles for several years, and she took a special interest in ballet and joined the pre-professional program under teachers Kennet Oberly (Stuttgart Ballet) and Larissa Oberly (Estonia National Ballet). She became a rehearsal assistant and began teaching ballet classes there while she was still a student.
Ms. Inglett was a soloist with the student company “Ballet La Crosse” at Misty’s Dance Unlimited and “Rochester Children’s Dance Theatre” in Minnesota. Some of her favorite roles included Alice in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Cinderella in Cinderella, and the Princess in The Little Mermaid. During her senior year, Ms. Inglett was a top 24 finalist for both classical and contemporary solos at YAGP Indianapolis and a finalist and scholarship winner at the Dance Cincinnati Youth Competition.
Her additional training consists of summers at the Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, and the University of Utah, where she is currently pursuing her BFA in Ballet and a minor in Disability Studies. During her time at the U, Ms. Inglett has performed in the classical productions of Konservatoriet, La Fille mal gardee, and La Vivandiere, as well as several contemporary pieces. One of these pieces she performed at the American College Dance Association in Colorado, and another won the SLC YAGP competition and went to the New York Finals.
In addition to performing, Ms. Inglett has passions for teaching and choreographing both classical and contemporary works. Her favorite parts about teaching and rehearsing students are embracing the close-knit community within the studio and watching her students' artistry and expression blossom. Connecting with students and sharing her knowledge and love of dance with others is why Ms. Inglett loves teaching!
