Ashley Driggs

Jazz

Ashley has been dancing since she could walk and has many happy, childhood memories of performing on stage. She has had extensive, technical training in classical ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and ballroom. Before college, Ashley trained for 6 years at UDA, dancing in the “Conservatory” program. During that time, she participated in UDA’s Artist in Training program under the direction of Kaelynne Oliphant where she studied teaching essentials and choreography principles and was given opportunities to choreograph and teach classes within the PEEPs program (now known as “Stars”) at UDA.

Ashley is also a graduate from BYU, where she furthered her dance experience in many genres. She especially enjoyed her time on the BYU Ballroom Dance Company. She is currently working full-time at a local Ad agency in Salt Lake City but is looking forward to “coming home” and sharing her passion for dance with students at UDA.
