About Jolyn

Jolyn Stevens


Ms. Stevens began dancing at age 3 and is trained in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. Growing up at Northland School of Dance in Champlin, Minnesota she competed on a local and national level. She performed at various competitions and venues in Minnesota, Las Vegas, California, and New York. She also toured with the Dance Olympus convention as an assistant instructor across the country to cities including New York, Boston, Houston, Minneapolis, Kansas City, etc. In 2000, Ms. Stevens had the opportunity to be a venue performer at the Sydney, Australia Summer Olympic Games. throughout the past 18 years of teaching, Ms. Steven's choreography has been performed and competed around the United States and featured in NBA half-time shows and various musical productions. After teaching in Florida for 9 years, she is happy to be in Utah and continuing her teaching career at UDA.

Education and Professional Experience:
  • Graduated from LDS Business College with an Administrative Certificate
