Marisa Prolo

Ballet - Jazz

Marisa received her Bachelors of Art degree in dance with an emphasis in choreography and performance at Brigham Young University Idaho. While in school she was able to be the assistant stage manager for the University dance company. She also had many choreographic and performance opportunities throughout her college career. Marisa was a member of the BYU-I Dance Alliance Touring Company getting to perform in Costa Rica and Panama. While performing in Costa Rica and Panama the company was able to perform in front of thousands of people and the president of Costa Rica. Marisa was also able to perform at American College Dance Association with Brigham Young University Idaho.

Marisa coached for the San Clemente High School dance team where they won USA National titles. Marisa received her training in all genres of dance but grew her love for ballet training with Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky. Marisa had amazing opportunities to win titles at Youth America Grand Prix, USA Dance Nationals and CADA West Coast Championships. Some of Marisa’s greatest dance opportunities were getting to dance at the 2002 Winter Olympics, being Clara with the Radio City Rocketts, and all the local fundraisers in San Clemente, CA. Marisa has been blessed to work with some amazing teachers and choreographers; Allision Holker, Joey and Jackie Dowling, Will Johnson, Wade Robson, and many others. Marisa has been a part of the dance community her entire life and has grown from everyone that she has had the opportunity to work with.
