Ballet - Pre-K/Kinder Classes (Tap/Jazz & Ballet) - Tippy Twos

Sarah LOVES teaching kids from 2 to 99 movement whether it's dance, strength, cardio or yoga. She started dancing late (9th grade) and holds a special place in her heart for the older beginners. She was quickly swept up into the world of dance training at the Ballet Conservatory with Sandra Allen, while serving Orem High School Dance Company President, Secretary and her Drill Team's Head Drill Mistress. She was then encouraged to expanded her training with Rhonda Sevey at The Utah Academy of the Performing Arts on their Senior Performing Company while teaching Funk and dance to children with special needs there.

She was on both a dance and academic scholarship at The College of Eastern Utah where she danced on their ballet company and graduated with high honors. She then continued her education at Brigham Young University on dance and academic scholarships. She was asked to come back to Orem High to be the Dance Company advisor and assistant Drill Team coach while attending BYU and was able to do her student teaching there. Upon graduating with her degree in Dance Education, she was asked to teach at Spanish Fork High School as their Dance Company advisor. She was also able to teach Dance 1, 2, 3, Dance and Drill, Ballroom Dance and Aerobics. She coauthored a dance manual called "Adventures is Children's Dance" with Shantell Barrett.

After moving to Arizona Sarah opened Sun Dance Studio and taught kids 18 months to 18 years while teaching all levels of dance at Millennium High School and served as their Dance Company Advisor and Dance Line Coach.

She has since found great joy in teaching preschool and has also become a fitness instructor.

She is a loving mother to six amazing kids. She loves to run, sew and play outside with her kids.
