Add-On Program for male dancers in 4th - 8th Grades

THIS PROGRAM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR THE 2022-2023 SEASON.

UDA Boys Hip Hop Competitive Team is for UDA male dancers who will be in the 4th – 8th grades in 2022-2023. Through participation, dancers cultivate important life skills in the areas of respect, responsibility and accountability to self and others as a contributing dance team member.

Boys do not need an invitation to participate on the hip hop team but they do need to attend an audition on August 18, 2022 to assess the levels and group numbers.

*A minimum of 6 dancers are required to create a Hip Hop Competition Team. We reserve the right to move dancers to a group outside their age/grade level, depending on audition numbers.

YEARLY PROGRAM FEE: $432

Amortized over 9 months: $48 monthly (*paid on the 1st of the month from September - May)

This fee covers two local competition entry fees, competition costume, choreography & music fees, manager and director fees. Rehearsals required from September 2022-June 2023.

The program fee does not cover technical program tuition and fees, team jacket, group photo shoot, or dance shoes needed for competition.

Additional Information
Classes - tuition - Fees - Etc

  • Dancers must add the required, additional classes to their weekly schedule:
    • Hip Hop Competition Team Rehearsal - 1 hour
    • UDA Hip Hop recital technique class - 1 hour *performs in UDA recital
  • This equates to 2 minimum hours per week.
  • The cost of monthly tuition is figured by using the UDA Tuition Scale
  • Additional Saturday rehearsals may be added to the schedule during competition season
  • Team Jacket: $70 - Charged on September 1, 2022 with September tuition. New team jackets will be purchased every three years and this will be year #1.
  • Garment Bags: Cost TBA
