Amanda Colangelo is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Salt Lake City, UT. She received her BFA in dance from The Ohio State University in 2019. Amanda is currently a company artist with SALT Contemporary Dance, and has performed as a guest collaborator with LED Boise and Brolly Arts. In recent years, she has had the privilege of performing works by Ohad Naharin, Peter Chu, Ihsan Rustem, Omar Román de Jesús, Lauren Edson, and others. In addition to her work as a performing artist, Amanda is the Artistic Director of SALT2, SALT Contemporary Dance’s sister company. She also serves as a rehearsal director and the Conservatory Ballet director at Utah Dance Artists. Amanda is deeply grateful for the opportunity to mentor young dancers in various stages of their training. She is thrilled to continue sharing her love of movement on stages in Utah and beyond.
