Caroline is a dancer, teacher and choreographer who began her dance training from a young age at Idaho Ballroom Academy. She graduated from Brigham Young University–Idaho with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Pedagogy in 2022. While a student at BYU–Idaho, Caroline was very active in the dance department, dancing and choreographing for Collegiate Dancers and dancing for three years with Dance Alliance, the University’s premiere touring company which allowed her to travel and tour across the continental United States. Along with her performance and choreography work, Caroline was active in leadership roles such as Director of Collegiate Dancers, Vice President of the Dance Society, a student teacher for multiple sections of Social Dance, and Director of the Ballroom Formation Team.
In 2021, Caroline received her Dance Vision International Dancers Association (DVIDA®) certification in Bronze Smooth. While also pursuing her passion for dance, she gained a passion for yoga. Caroline is a registered yoga teacher and has completed her 200-hour yoga certification through Yoga Alliance.
Caroline taught for Idaho Ballroom Academy for five years, where she taught Bronze, Silver, and Gold Syllabus steps and routines, as well as choreographed and directed routines for both performances and competitions. She also had the opportunity to teach for the Special Needs Ballroom Team and the Pee–Wee Ballroom Program within IBA, which gave her unique and rewarding experiences teaching to these special populations.
Recently making Utah her home, she is now coaching the showcase ballroom team and teaches private lessons at Cedar Valley High School, which is the home of one of the largest high school ballroom programs in the state of Utah. In addition to her coaching role, her passion for teaching extends to preschool dance at Utah Dance Artists as she introduces the little ones to the world of dance through tap, ballet, and jazz classes.
