Kate has been training as a competitive dancer in Southern California since she was 5 years old. She has experience working with professional dancers and choreographers such as Sophia Lucia, Autumn Miller, Briar Nolet, Holden Maples, Kayla Kalbfleisch, Tanya Durbin and Nikolas Bermea. Growing up she won numerous top soloist awards at regional and national competitions and conventions such as Velocity, Radix, Nuvo, 24seven, Hollywood Vibe, Showstoppers, Starsystems, Spotlight, and Countdown.
Starting in high school, Kate became a studio dance instructor for beginning to advanced technique, jazz, ballet, acro, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary classes, ranging in ages from 3-18. She has choreographed high school varsity pom and dance company routines, as well award-winning competitive solos and studio group pieces. Recently, Kate has began her education at Brigham Young University and is representing the school and furthering her dance experience as a BYU Cougarette.
