High School Elites Competitive Team - Program Info

For Dancers on a high school drill team or dance company

SESSION 1: No Program Fee

Participants will pay UDA Tuition only: $80/month

SESSION 2 PROGRAM FEE: $480

Prorated to 6 monthly payments of $80 from December – May
*This fee must be paid in addition to UDA Tuition of $80/month.

High School Elite is a two-season program; SESSION 1 - August-December and SESSION 2 - January-May. Dancers may participate in one or both sessions. An invitation or audition is required to participate in Session 2.

The Session 2 ELITES Program Fee covers two costumes, competition fees for 4 competitions, critique, director, and manager fees.

The Session 2 ELITES Program Fee does not cover tuition, team warmups, travel bag, choreography, makeup, earrings, shoes and tights needed for competition.

Mandatory Meetings
Held at the South Jordan Studio Location

PARENT INFORMATION MEETING: Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at 7:00 pm

  • This meeting will provide information about the High School Elite program and parents will have the opportunity to meet the program director and have their questions answered.


COMPETITION KICK-OFF MEETING: Monday, November 9th, 2020 at 8:00 pm

  • This meeting will jump-start the competition season for Session 2 by providing important yearly information and dates that must be added to the calendar. ELITE dancers will also be measured for their team jackets.

Choreography - Fees - Etc

Competition choreography will be taught on Saturdays between November/December based on participants availability so as to avoid drill team competitions.

  • Choreography Fees: Billed separately from ELITE program fees
    • Cost: $150 - $235 total for 2 routines
    • Due: Split in 2 charges between Dec/Jan.
  • UDA monthly tuition and High School ELITE program fees are both due on the first business day of each month from September-May.
  • The cost of monthly tuition is $80. Tuition for additional classes is figured by using the UDA tuition scale.
  • Registration Fees
    • Returning UDA Students: $30 non-refundable registration fee
    • New Studenets: $40 non-refundable registratin fee
  • UDA Company Jacket and Pants: $165 – due December 1st *if new to UDA competitive program **every three years a new style of travel wear is purchased - this is year #2.
  • UDA Travel Backpack & Garment Bag: $85 – due December 1st *if new to program.
  • UDA Competition Makeup and Earrings: $70 - $80 - due December 1st *if new to program
  • Competition Shoes and Tights: Purchase on your own.
  • Conventions: NOT Required, NOT included in program fees.
    • Optional to attend EPIC in September, 25th - 26th.
    • Conventions offered February - May 2021.
  • Master Classes: NOT Required, NOT included in program fees. Offered Jan - May 2021.
