UDA Varsity Program Information

For Dancers in the 1st - 12th Grade

UDA Varsity Competitive Program

Please consider the level of commitment and financial responsibility that comes with being part of the UDA Varsity Competitive Program. Not all dancers who audition will make a team. Admittance is based on technical ability, performance, artistry, and overall cohesiveness with dancers of a similar age and ability.

PRE-AUDITION TRIAL CLASSES

In order for dancers to consider the level of the Varsity program, a jazz technique and ballet technique classes will be offered.

Parents may pre-register their child for these classes beginning April 1st. Classes are $15 each. The dress code for ballet is a black leotard and pink tights and all black attire for jazz.

Turn in post-dated check at auditions for Summer Dance Intensive payable to UDA dated May 23, 2019. This check serves as a deposit. If your child does not make a team, it will be shredded; if your child makes a team, it will be cashed. If your child decides not to take their team placement after audition, there will be no refund on this deposit.

Please consider the level of commitment and financial responsibility that comes with being part of these intensive programs. Dancers who have a desire to achieve a higher level of technique and artistry are encouraged to audition for this program; however, not all dancers who audition will be placed on a team. Dancers are selected based on their technical ability, performance, artistry, and overall cohesiveness with dancers of a similar ability.
