Improv - Combo & Performance

Brittney is currently a Senior in the Dance Program at Utah Valley University. Brittney was awarded her second scholarship for "Modern Dance Exceptional Performance" from the Dance Department at Utah Valley University. Brittney was on the Alta High School Dance Team where she held the the office of Choreographer and was selected the Most Valuable Performer. Brittney began dancing at the age of 5 and trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and ballroom. She has continued training in these genres at world renowned dance studios, such as STEPS, Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Ailey in New York City. Brittney has also trained extensively in tumbling.

Brittney has been a two year member of the Contemporary Dance Ensemble at Utah Valley University and is honored to be a part of this 13 member elite performing group. She has performed in multiple shows and was given the opportunity to travel this summer to Copenhagen Denmark and perform at the International Children's Dance Festival. She enjoys teaching tumbling so much that she is now Acro Certified. Brittney is excited to incorporate this new element into her tumbling courses. Brittney’s passion is choreography as she loves turning movement into works of art; but as a teacher her main goal is help future dancers build their confidence and skills while maintaining a positive self-image and loving themselves.

Education and Professional Experience:
  • Working toward Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance Education - Utah Valley University
  • Acro Tumbling certified in March 2015 and Acro tumbling model 2 certification in August 2016
