Ballet

Brookely is a dedicated dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Brookely completed her BFA in Modern Dance at Utah Valley University where she received UVU’s Modern Dance Performance Scholarship in 2020. She also had the opportunity to dance with and choreograph for UVU’s Synergy Dance Company, where she worked with Andy Noble, Bret Easterling, Katheryn Taylor and Doris Trojilio. Brookely has also performed with Atlas Dance Collective, works by Jacques Heim in Diavolo’s Construct and Elements Workshops, works by Shannon Gillen with LINK fueled by SALT Contemporary Dance, and works by Brooklyn Draper in Repertory Dance Theatre’s Regalia.

Brookely believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered with Utah Humanities, National PTA Reflections Dance, and National Honor Society. She also participated in benefit concerts through Full Circle Dance, and taught UVU Children’s Creative Dance Class. Additionally, Brookely interned locally with Ballet West and served on UVU’s Choreography Club Council in 2019. As an artist she sees the value of the arts in effecting change in local and national communities.
